Recalcitrant Wife / Fraudster

Nuphar falsely claimed that her husband was refusing to grant her a “get,” despite this not being true and without ever approaching a Beis Din (Jewish court) to request a divorce. Her lawyer misled the Ontario court by presenting this false claim, which accused her husband of refusing a Jewish divorce. In reality, the “get” was never withheld. The judge, unfamiliar with Jewish law, issued an unlawful ruling that violated Ontario law, Jewish law, and the husband and child’s rights. This decision also rendered Nuphar ineligible for a Jewish divorce under Halacha (Jewish law).

Until these invalid court orders are overturned and Nuphar acknowledges that her lawyer acted deceptively on her behalf, she remains ineligible for a “get.” This has been confirmed by Rabbi Mordechai Ochs, the leading authority on Jewish divorce law in Canada, and by several rabbis globally.

By misrepresenting the situation in court for temporary personal gain, Nuphar has become a Recalcitrant Wife, unable to obtain a “get.” Her actions have compromised the rights of her husband and son. Furthermore, she is a “Get Refusal Fraudster,” as well as a court-acknowledged child abuser and parental alienator.
